NeverHeatStyleWithoutOne

I never used heat protection before I dried or styled my locks.
After reading numerous reviews on heat protection products, it seems that this product is extremely important when styling your hair.
One of my favorite sites, Folica.com, has many protection sprays to choose from, including my favorite, the CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray.

Chelle Morrison, Owner Urban Betty Salon (Voted Best Salon) in Austin Texas said, "Protectants help create a barrier between your hair and the flat iron to guard the cuticle from straight heat."

Hair protectants come in a variety of forms including sprays, serums, creams, lotions and gels for different protection needs. When choosing the protectant for you, look a formula that smoothes frizz, adds shine, infuses strands with healthy ingredients and acts as a buffer against damage. If you have straight or fine hair, stick with sprays, mists or lightweight lotions. For longer, thick or curly locks, try richer nourishing serums or creams.

WillStyleSaveUS?

Style may save some things, but it sure doesn't save crazy bed head!
I posted this shot in beauty because it doesn't show a complete outfit.
I woke up yesterday morning and was checking e-mails and relaxing in bed before I got ready for work when I clicked on PhotoBooth instead of Safari. I snapped this photo and kind of liked. Although it's not the most beautiful of photos, it's something different from the usual smile and pose photos. I enjoy trying different make-up, hairstyles and outfits, but sometimes you don't need any of that to take a cool picture.
